At Prishtina’s Municipal Assembly Hall, Open Data Kosovo’s executive director, Blerta Thaci, together with the mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina, Mr. Shpend A. Ahmeti, the deputy director of Unicef Kosovo Programme, Mr. James Mugaju, and the deputy mayor of Prishtina, Mr. Muhedin Nushi, introduced the platform which enables open contracts for the citizens of Prishtina according to the international open data standards.
The “open contracts” platform includes data about the realization of contracts which are presented in real time and enable citizens to be informed about the contracts’ status, such as: when the contract expires, what is the current status or how much the economic operator is paid.
