INFOSEC FOR BALKANS

This project intends to address the low level of information security and lack of knowledge among Civil Society Organisations in Southeast Europe in the protection of their sources and themselves throughout their online activities.

This is planned to be achieved through a set of activities aimed at capacity building among the target group. Specifically, the project intends to conduct information security auditing and counseling work. Beneficiaries of this project include CSO personnel seeking to communicate securely with media organizations. It is worth mentioning that some of the CSOs to be targeted by this project, are at the same time media organisations that practice investigative journalistic work and are intensively involved in active citizenry. Therefore, also community of journalists will benefit from implementation of this project. The target countries and organizations with expressed interest to benefit from this project are: Kosovo, Albania, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro.
