OPEN DATA MEETUP GJAKOVA

This local meet-up on the topic on Open Data which bring transaprency and development in a society.

The opening of data is based on the idea that data in whatever form should be available for all. IN most cases, open data can be reused and republished, without any limitations from author’s rights, patents or other control mechanisms.

For this and more, the speakers at these meet-up will share their perspective on open data and how they have incorporated this into their work. The speakers were as follows:

Starting from discussion with Mimoza Kusari Lila – Mayor of Gjakova, Fidan Kalajan, Georges L. J. Labrèchen, and the workshop with Thomas Levine (coming from FLOSSK Free Libre Open Source Software Kosova), who shared insights on how to analyze PDFs on open data and more.
