CODE 4 KAMENICA

“Code 4 Kamenica” represents an innovative and responsive outlet for Kamenica, especially the youth at early stages of education, to gain valuable skills in the ICT field through informal education methods and hands-on approach, which in turn contribute to fostering active citizenship through innovative technologies to be developed. Throughout the proposed project, Open Data Kosovo aims to foster the development of such ICT skills at early stages of education, specifically primary and secondary education, since such skills are highly-demanded and highly-lacked in Kosovo ICT market. Thus, introducing youth to such technologies at early stages of education through interactive methods, specifically informal education, further fosters the development of such skills and the development of tendencies to follow further this field of study. With this in mind, this proposed project aims to foster the development of ICT skills of youth at early stages of education by leveraging the use of new technologies and hands-on approach to learning while including the community in this learning process.
